First model shoot of 22'
Something i haven’t been doing alot since the turn of the year is, photograph models. I haven’t been in the right frame of mind since losing my mother-in-law in November of 21’ and nothing has cropped up that needed me to have a model, until this past week.
As you can see in the previous post, i took delivery of a Pixapro/Godox CITI300 pro strobe light - a product i had my eyes on since its launch. It’s timing was great as my friend Paul and i, wanted to catch up and in fact he himself had a new camera he wanted to test out in a portrait situation. Luckily i had been chatting my my friend and local model Amie about some projects and she volunteered her services as a face to test the new tech out on.
We met at a local nature reserve and walked around taking a few shots together. It was pleasant as there was no pressure for anyone there to get amazing shots or use the right settings etc as we were there to 1. test new gear and 2. catch up together.
A sample of some of the shots using the CITI300 pro light from this shoot are below.
Gear: Sony A7iii / Sony 85mm 1.8 / Sigma 35mm 1.4 art
Lights: CITI300 pro / Godox 65cm octabox
