Kelly O'Donoghue - Braintree, Essex
I got in touch with Kelly when she posted a message about wanting to shoot with local photographers on a Facebook page. Seeing as i was only 5 minutes away from her, i quickly replied to her. Whilst we planned for a completely different shoot, i thought it would be good to just meet up, chat, walk and take a few pics. That way we get to know one another abit before the main shoot.
We visited a local spot one evening, which was not what either of us expected but we made the most of it and got some lovely golden hour light.
For this quick shoot, i thought i would bring along my Godox AD200 light and a softbox to try and get back into OCF photography. I used to do alot of this a few years back and gradually i lost interest due to the amount of kit i was taking to a shoot. This has now changed with the acquisition of the AD200. I have 3 of these lights now due to how little space they take up and how portable they are - which is perfect to use in my very very small office/studio space.
I am very happy with the majority of these shots, due to the fact we didn’t plan and pretty much ‘winged’ the session. Golden hour is amazing at this time of year… when the sun is out.
