Sneak Energy Drink
As 2021 began, the lockdown is still in place and has restricted the majority of the population in the UK to not really being able to do much. I really wanted to carry on taking photos and creating where possible, so i challenged myself to shoot something every week until restrictions were lifted and i was able to get out and about.
I came across the energy brand Sneak in early 2020 and have purchased the odd product from them but for me, i kept tabs with them as i liked their branding, marketing and media. The energy drinks/powders have also helped me get through the working day whilst stuck in my small home office, and that instigated the idea of trying to shoot a couple of images of their cans.
Next to my main desk i had one continuous light setup and some foam board on the shelf. I set a piece of black foam board at the rear for a background and then used a white piece opposite to the light - this allows the light to bounce back on to the product to bring out the shadows.
I shot the different flavours i had, in the same spot each time and moved the can around to 3 angles to get 3 shots per can - Face on, 45 degree left and the same right.
All in all i was fairly satisfied with the results with the small setup. Product is something i love to get creative with when i can and i hope i get to do more in the future.
