Practice at Kelvedon, Essex

It had been a while since i was able to hold a session where i could just practice a little bit of lighting and posing. But i was luck enough to grab a few hours hire at a local hall, where i could set some equipment up and hone my skills.

I invited two models i have been lucky to have know for a while now in Emma Turner and Lois Perry. Very much opposites in terms of appearance, which gave me the variety i was looking for.

The aim was to play around with a black and white conversion on the white and then some light gel or cross lighting on the grey set - i alternated between sets and models and kept tweaking settings depending on what was and wasn’t working.

Gear used: Sony A7iv / Sigma 50mm 1.4 / Pixapro 300pro / Pixapro 200
