Urban portrait - Chelmsford, Essex

I really wanted to shoot more urban work seeing as a lot of the towns and car parks were still empty due to lockdown restrictions, so i put a call out on my Instagram page (@danmasphoto) and Emma Churchyard immediately wanted to do it as it was on her list of themes. But another model i have worked with a fair bit, Kelly, also said she wanted to do the shoot. So i booked them in one after another at the same location to fall in line with the government rules.

We kept the shoot inside the multistory carpark, as there were no cars around really and it allowed us to walk around freely. I shot a lot of natural light shots first but then really wanted to play with the coloured gels as there was no pressure on us at the location.

Starting of with one light, 2 lights and then 3, we managed to get a few different feels from the one spot.
